What is sustainability?
Sustainability is based on the simple principle that everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability is important to making sure that we have and will continue to have water, materials, and resources to protect our environment and in turn human health. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations.
How does CoreMedia Energy ensure sustainability of its business and operations?
We believe that the world in which we all live is meant to be enjoyed by all - also by our children and their children. Thus we ensure that all our products are manufactured to the highest ecological standards, minimizing wastage of energy and ressources as well as avoiding pollution of the environment. Our production plants are solar-powered and have extensive waste water filtering systems. By next year, we aim to reach a zero-carbon-footprint for all our manufacturing. Our appliances are extremely energy efficient - with certification by agencies like the EPA in the United states - and ergonomically designed.
